I hope the Mohel does his work well and the Bris is done with all God's speed.
You could wait until day 31 and have the ritual of pidyon ha-ben (redemption of the first born son) done. I think it's customary to tip the kohein with 5 silver dollars.
Either way, I know you're dedication of your son to this covenant is in obedience to God.
Wish I could be there to participate and bless him.
I thought I needed to leave another comment about the small video clip of Daniel. Wow, he sure is animated. It's like he's shadow boxing. I guess he misses something to punch.
Yes, Nana needs a fix, too! I am glad it comes in the form of a sweet baby boy, my grandson, Daniel. Take pictures BEFORE the mohel w/ rabbi. Such a deal! Lots of hugs and kisses to Daniel. Love, Nana
Hey Tom, Your mom told me the fee for the bris was just $200 instead of the normal $700. I'm surprised ("oy gevalt"), I thought the mohel only worked for "tips". . . Sorry!
Happy B'rith(Brit) Milah!!!
